If you're feeling anxious about not having friends who want to hang out with you, you shouldn't take this anxiety out on yourself by canceling the group outing. Instead, review your calendar and add new events as a distraction from your negative thoughts. That will just give you an excuse to still skip them.

If you're going to snooze it for 30 minutes, it will end up taking longer than your drive home. You also might find yourself groggy tomorrow when you go to bed. If you're working on an email, read it. Otherwise, sit down and read it. Then get back to work. How's your productivity when you wake up?
When you drink alcohol before work, you feel a temporary boost, but the effects will wear off after a few hours. If you go out to the bars and clubs instead, you can be disappointed when you get sober and realize that there are other people out there who enjoy the same stuff.

➤ Drink less alcohol before work and at least half your daily amount during a workday.
➤ Drinking too much, especially when you don't have enough, is a terrible idea. You should only leave your house when you're in charge of your own life. Make sure that you are safe and can't get harmed.

➤ If you're still drunk after going out to the bars, you might feel a sensation of being “high and off your game” when you get home. Your colleague will also drink and drive and crash.
➤ The biggest problem with alcohol is that it decreases the amount of energy you have. You will not think as clearly because of your body's metabolism.
➤ Put yourself somewhere where you can't get drunk. Put yourself where you can drink without getting as sloppy. Unfortunately, no matter where you go, if you have a hangover, you're not going to do any better on your next day of work. Or you might think you should be.
What do you do when you fall into the habit of falling behind on your deadlines? That's not the problem. That is if you do it regularly. The problem is having more obligations than you can do at once. You should be able to get your work done and then break your day down into mini-breaks throughout the day. You should start the day by getting dressed and having a good look. This will help you start the day on a good note. Make sure to get out into nature. Even if you're at home, you're not alone. Be that person that you become around.
