Best Habits Books

πŸ’™ Best Habits BooksπŸ’™ πŸ‘‰ Greatest Thing You Ever Sunk Your Face Into: A work of comedy that enjoys a kind of ironic irony and where every other human being seems to be crumbling under the weight of intolerable romantic stupidity. A. Sanders makes people laugh and many of them laugh aloud, so his books are readily available in bookstores. Check out this one for Lyrical Journeys, in which we find a girl who, after writing her future wedding vows to a guy she loathes, realizes she was miscounted. She decided that if only she got married, things could be cooler. But guess what? It's even cooler if she was married to someone else who loved her back. πŸ‘‰ The Irresistible Ruby Illumination: Reconstructing a series of deep dives on the necessity of perfectionism, stress (pun not intended for a lack of it), conflict, and narcissism. This series takes a deep dive into some of the world's most complicated topics, which are a little harder to understand when you're in the midst of y...

Warren Buffett’s Strategy for Focused Attention

Image
Warren Buffett’s “2 List” Strategy for Focused Attention If you read enough financial commentary and you’re knowledgeable about business-to-business P2B like Business2Growth, you’ve seen people saying that SaaS companies have moved into a totally new realm where they are anything but software. They are moving into automation, sales tools, and data science. Companies like Microsoft (MSFT), Oracle (ORCL), (CBY), and (YHOO) are making these investments to compete and compete for market share. So it makes sense that you’d wonder why they’re the last to move into AI. Microsoft still has the legacy mobile, enterprise software businesses to defend. That means the company is really good at creating value that is hard to imitate, thus making it harder for competitors to steal it. So you don’t expect this to happen until there’s a genuine desire for companies to invest, invest, and invest in technology and this sounds like a falling domino effect for Amazon. (Amazon will probably be the la...

How to Improve Concentration

Image
How to Improve Concentration Once you are established as overall health and wellness professional, you will notice an increase in productivity. This can be attributed to more clarity on what you’re offering your clients or yourself. Most people would like to feel more productive, especially after hours of digital distraction. The best way to stay focused is to make sure that you focus on what you’re doing. For example, take on an active role in your own activity and don’t accept a passive role in your client. Once you start being proactive in a client’s life, you’ll notice a spike in productivity. You also have more perspective, so this time is less of a drop in productivity. When you start being responsible in your own life, you’ll start feeling self-confident in yoursel f. This leads to the feeling of being an overall healthier human being. Finding a date that you both appreciate Just like you should try something you are trying to lose weight, take on a new experience. If you...

Things I’ve Learned on Twitter

Image
Things I’ve Learned on Twitter Someone said I should be able to learn quickly. There’s nothing wrong with that! Everyone knows the classic advice of making friends with new people but at the same time, those friends don’t come at the same pace to learn from. What the internet (and the platforms) don’t give is the time to practice taking in a world of avatars, memes, or non-fiction. There’s always no quick answer. Just wait for someone else to start. This can be true in many fields of life. The one time I came on Twitter, I was in a very high school psychology class, but I had to take a computer science course online, so I never really knew much about computers, coding, and the coding process. I went on because there was always someone in my class that seemed so crazy, though I knew what they were up to. If you come across a bunch of the people you liked, there’s a good chance you’ll see the posts of at least one that didn’t belong to the class. There’s no right or wrong way to s...

You’re On The Right Path

Image
How to Know You’re On The Right Path What are some of the questions you might be getting asked during this chaotic season of complete chaos? How would you sum up what it is like to be a part of the whole pandemic? Here are three questions that made me realize just how right my life path is: 1. Why do I like being disruptive? When you’re in a large, chaotic environment, it’s good to question the norms of society. We can all tell you, we really like the chaos. We can understand better the different sections of our society if they are a little more prone to change their regulations or things about the way they operate. Being in a large environment with an ever-changing world you’re surrounded by just makes the disruptions more complete. You could shake up the dining room table of your day-to-day life at your restaurant or home or business; there would be a vacuum left. As a human that has the ability to think and analyze the world, sometimes we feel comfortable doing whatever we’re ...

Dream Big Enough

Image
Dream Big Enough When a person dreams they’re dreaming about something which they’re passionate about, thinking to themselves and their thoughts about the relevant information, senses, personality, environment, etc. Once one goes through your mind, dreams change a lot and they are very important aspects of life. People around me don’t take our dreams seriously. Dreams need to be analyzed and evaluated to be useful. Sometimes, a dream can be life-changing. Sometimes, it will never make any meaningful influence on a person's life. “All dreams are shit” is the usual response, but if you read the reverse you might actually be more taken up and be able to see what you are really thinking and calculating in your mind. I also know “good dreams” will fall in the same category as “bad dreams”; that is they are just, perhaps, a little bit more mundane, but maybe the core element of the original dream doesn’t even exist. I believe some dreams are so meaningful that people will never give up...
